HOW TO DRAFT YOUR ASSOCIATION'S ARTICLES OF ASSOCIATION?
Drafting articles of association is an essential step in setting up an association. While it may seem complex, it allows you to clearly define the legal framework, objectives, and operating rules of your organization. Several institutions offer templates, including Bénévolat-Vaud, Vitamine B and CAGI.
SIMPLIFIED ARTICLES OF ASSOCIATION TEMPLATE
Lyoxa provides a simplified articles of association template, available for download below.
The document includes comments to help you customize it:
- In yellow: to fill in with information specific to your association (name, objectives, members, etc.)
- In green: optional. These elements can be kept, adapted, or removed depending on your needs. Removing them generally has no consequences, but they are often included by convention (and sometimes on our recommendation).
- In purple: required if you’re applying for tax exemption. You can remove them if this doesn’t apply to you or you’re not eligible.
Please note: the templates we provide are written in French.
